Happy New Moon!
New moons are a time for releasing the old, and embracing new beginnings. What better way is there to wash your cares away and renew your whole being, than having a relaxing bath?
Purifying rosemary is said to cleanse away negative vibes and refreshing mint attracts positive energy. Rosemary (Rosmarinus Officinalis) helps soothe sore muscles and increase circulation, while Mint (Mentha) calms stress, anxiety and promotes restful sleep. In my recipe, I have added a few optional dried lavender flowers and dried rosemary, for that extra aromatic bliss! This DIY bath salt blend can be very relaxing and rejuvenating during a new moon. I like to take my new moon baths by candlelight, lighting white candles that represent purity and new beginnings. If you're a crystal lover, you can place these mystical gems around or near your bathtub:
Moon stone ( balances emotions, opens intuition)
Black tourmaline (protection & grounding)
Rose quartz (attracts love & cultivates self-love)
Clear Quartz ( Purifies, cleanses, heals)
Below is my quick and easy recipe for New Moon bath salts.
